I just got this a few days ago. Just a beauty of a apparatus. Mine has not
much flex on the lid when I push it down. Really pleased with this

Hey Lisa, i know you mention the sandisk issues in a lot of videos, and
here you say “give it a rest”, but i owned a zenbook prime (ux31la; a very
recent model) and the sandisk ssd completely failed in it. the bios would
not admit the drive (the make/model showed up as weird characters
sometimes, additional era it would say no SATA drive installed). i confirmed
with a couple additional sources that it was indeed the drive, and i opened it
up to see it was a sandisk. it seems their quality is still not there.

Man…. laptops really have developed up. This apparatus is a thing of beauty.

Kenny Larsonапреля 4, 2014 at 16:57

I’d like to see a evaluation between this and the new X1 Carbon for
graphics editing.

Ken Heslipапреля 4, 2014 at 17:53

That’s a beauty!

Vai Rostampourапреля 4, 2014 at 18:53

What can you upgrade on the ux302 lg?

TheRedTech98апреля 4, 2014 at 19:51

#mobiletechreview Hi, fantastic review. I’m a student and I need a
laptop/ultrabook that is about 13-14 inches in screen size, full HD, at
least 8GB RAM, Intel i5 4th gen, excellent battery life, and excellent performance of
course. Price 1000 US Dollars or less, and it should be kind of sturdy, not
fragile, like the Vaio Pro, and lightweight. What do you recommend? Please
help me as I’m wondering between the Vaio Flip 14, ZenBook UX301, and additional
laptops. Thanks :)

Fantastic review as always. Glad you pointed out the SD card sticking out
still. Nearly as terrible as Lenovo leaving out the SD card reader on the New

Philsonапреля 4, 2014 at 21:40

Compare this and the Zenbook Touch UX31LA pls.

Dustin Tranапреля 4, 2014 at 22:09

com’on, Lisa. The laptop closes like a mac? Don’t be like one of those

Łukasz Kotkowskiапреля 4, 2014 at 22:24

Please do a evaluation between this and Late 2013 Macbook Pro 13″

Eduardo Matiasапреля 4, 2014 at 22:48

shawnthorапреля 4, 2014 at 22:54

Hoang Phuc Voапреля 4, 2014 at 23:51

Ruel Celerioапреля 5, 2014 at 0:05

Alpha Nationапреля 5, 2014 at 1:00

When did it came out?

Justin Williamsапреля 5, 2014 at 1:23

Hey Lisa, once again what an in depth review but you reckon you can do a
smack down evaluation between the Asus ux301 and the mac book pro 13 retina
with Haswell. That would be awesome. Never knew the ux301 was this
powerful, most ultra books I’ve seen are excellent but this one… Just damn.
