I want to point out a mistake in the review. The casing on the
Surface 2 is MAGNESIUM. NOT aluminum.

Will you do more Asus T100 comparisons. Possible to quicker price range
tablets, like the Dell Venue 8 and the Venue 10.

Stephen McAllisterапреля 4, 2014 at 14:51

Fantastic review!! Cleared alot up for me when choosing a windows tablet. No RT
for me. I need full windows

Auryn Toolaапреля 4, 2014 at 15:26

If Microsoft would wake up and slap full Windows onto the regular Surface
versions, I would doubtless buy that instead of the Dell Venue line.

I forgot to say that the deal I mentioned is on the student web store.

anyone who owns this tablet, having distress with reduction or converting power
point presentation to video file don’t know if its lack of power from
tablet or power point or 3rd party software but can’t get a 4 minute ppp to
save as video been 3 hours now stuck at 75% question office live chat guy was an
idiot told me power point doesn’t help wmv questioned him what it supported
told me wmv any help appreciated.

Abena20апреля 4, 2014 at 16:58

You should just call this video, why you shouldn’t buy an Windows Surface.
I was thinking of buying, but now I’m not attracted.

jouallyапреля 4, 2014 at 17:44

I have a question. You say in the begining of the video that neither of
them can run applications or softwares that are not coming from windows
itself, such as Photoshop or everything coming from Adobe ?…is that aptly

Fantastic review

Sigvulcanasапреля 4, 2014 at 18:37

It’s hard to choose I like the surface design but I don’t like it’s locked
down and doesn’t have a keyboard included. The T100 has what I want but
quality seems to be an issue and the spectacle doesn’t seem so fantastic.

Jure Urbancапреля 4, 2014 at 18:38

yes im getting the ASUS for my mom. Windows RT just isn’t just there with
the apps.

Red's Gamingапреля 4, 2014 at 19:28

I really did want full windows but I could hold off for now the windows
store has most the material i need and it’s on the rise really quick the asus
screen just looks really terrible in my opinion and the cameras aren’t to excellent
either. Then don’t forget the surface 2 has some cool things that come with
it box with 200gb of sky drive with premium Skype account that allows use
to wifi satellites

Alrynecапреля 4, 2014 at 20:27

RT really it’s not worth the money, will go for the asus, it’s cheaper
and more usable

XBRoughneckапреля 4, 2014 at 21:09

If I wanted to run full Windows I’d buy a laptop that runs ALL the Windows
apps I want to run (and by run I mean well). I wanted an iPad experience
with the Metro interface so I bought the Surface 2 and couldn’t be more pleased.
Well, more GAMES…not Skyrim, but the top iPad games would be awesome.

Is the Adaptive Brightness turned OFF on the Asus during this evaluation? I
questioned because out of the box, the Asus is pretty dimmed even if it’s at
100% brightness but I just learned that turning off the Adaptive
Brightness boosted the screen’s brightness significantly. And I mean,

If RT is just fine for you, check out the Lenovo Thought Pad Yoga 11, it’s
Windows RT but it also has a 11.6″ screen spectacle! Fantastic for movies. The
keyboard folds behind the screen for tablet mode, and you can just swing it
out for a netbook/laptop mode. The price is ONLY $299!!! Microsoft charges
too much money for there own versions of RT tablets compared to FULL
Windows 8.1 like the Dell Venue 8 PRO.

John Griffinапреля 4, 2014 at 22:15

The screen on the Asus looks terrible compared to the surface

BananaGamingапреля 4, 2014 at 22:52

On the Asus can you play regular minecraft not the tablet edition?

Dan Brownапреля 4, 2014 at 23:37

By 6:00 she started talking really bios about the Asus but I have it and
it’s really better in my opinion

Kyle Gallamoreапреля 5, 2014 at 0:10

Awesome review. I’m still at a toss up whether to return my t100 for an rt.
thank you for bringing out excellent points!

Göran Heintzапреля 5, 2014 at 0:53

Does the keyboard work even as not connected? Reckon about using the asus
sometimes connected to a monitor so wonder if I need to get a second
wireless keyboard or if i can use it?
