Exactly what I wanted. Indoors very quick and in perfect condition. Toshiba is the only brand laptop I’ll ever buy.

Computer has a excellent processor and overall, I delight in it, but it has far too many drawbacks for the price. It has Windows 10, which is essentially malware. That is absolutely the worst figure, but you can go online and find out how to neutralize all of the horrible intrusive features. The screen is also a small low quality. The graphics card has no dedicated memory, so it leeches the 4GB RAM that comes installed. It is DDR4 RAM (which is excellent), but some parts of the product description at this time say DDR3, even as others say DDR4. Finally, it is a hassle to upgrade ram or access the hard drive. I’ve never owned a laptop that doesn’t have dedicated panels for these, as this does not. You are forced to remove the entire underside of the case in order to access the RAM or hard drive. This is entirely doable if you’re careful, but a small nerve-wracking as it looks like you are about to hurt it the entire time you’re prying the case open.

Edit: the problem I was having with the mouse was related to an issue with a background called PalmCheck, which can be disabled by background it to minimum sensitivity in the settings for the Synaptics touchpad (Settings>devices>touchpad>additional settings>device settings (tab) > settings (button)>pointing>PalmCheck). Additionally, I chose to go ahead and upgrade the RAM. You can add 4GB for a whole of 8 pretty cheaply (~$50). Subsequent openings of the back case are much simpler (I assume the blue material on the screws is something like Locktite, and it must slightly fuse all the holes collectively).
