Fantastic headphones for kids, but…, October 16, 2013

Verified Buy(What’s this?)
I bought these for my kids when we made a long road trip and they were fantastic. The sound quality is excellent, and they stay on the head very well. I especially like that you can change the volume by turning the dial on the side. Only two problems that I’ve had with them.

1. They are still pretty loud at the highest background even though they are supposed to be volume limited. It’s not vacant to blow out your eardrums, but it would be uncomfortable.
2. The foam pads fall off quite easily, but they are simple enough to place back on. Just gets irritating having to handle them so carefully so the pads won’t fall off.

Overall, a decent product that would be fantastic if they choose to fix the two issues I programmed.

Super comfy and fantastic sound quality., November 18, 2012

Got these for my 4 year ancient son to plug into the iPad for “silent time”. And by silent time, I mean silent time for me :)
I was impressed by these headphones for a few reasons:

Fit – super comfy for small heads and they stay on really well.

Sound – the sound is really fantastic. In view of the fact that these are for kids, I wasn’t sure how the quality sound would match up to adult sized headphones, but these really do sound fantastic. In fact, i have got them on my head aptly now! They also cancel outside noise pretty well.

Look – I like that they aren’t too bulky. The coolest thing is at the kid gets to point out which sticker they want to place on the side of headphones. Mason was REALLY jazzed by that.

Volume Control – the volume control is located on the aptly ear, which is really nice. I like that you can turn it down really low for small ears.

Quality – this is the main factor for me. My kid can break material quicker than anyone on planet, but these are nice and sturdy.

Overall I’m very pleased with these and would certainly recommend them to others.

Nice fit, nice sound, ear pads came off constantly, June 10, 2013

Verified Buy(What’s this?)
I bought these headphones for my son for an upcoming trip. He had previously used the KidzGear headphones but had, over the course of two years, been so rough with them as to loosen the wires to the point that the sound cut in and out. These headphones looked sturdier so I plotting we’d try them.

I was pleased with the look and feel of the headphones upon their arrival. They were sturdy but comfortable. My son liked customizing the ears with the provided stickers. We packed them away for the trip and I wouldn’t let him use them before so that nothing would happen to them. (Nothing like a 5 year ancient boy.)

He wore them on the plane for the first time. As soon as he took them off, one of the ear pads came off. And, it was quite trying to place back on. He place them back on, the ear pad came back off. Place it back on, again with difficulty. Place them back on, the additional ear pad came off. I should mention that he was in no way rough when compelling the headphones off. There is absolutely no reason that the ear pads should have come off. By the end of the trip, we had replaced the ear pads so many era I considered throwing them away. Opportunely, Amazon’s return policy allowed me to return them. I reckon I’ll go back to the KidzGear or try the small Sony headphones.

Excellent fit, excellent sound, excellent price, ear pads come off so often that you’ll want to smash the headphones.
