I love this fiber cloth jacketed audio cable it looks retro and like its big brothers that are used on studio sets for massive audio setups. It features a well-designed male stereo jack on each end that is gold plated to reduce corrosion and oxidation that can change the connection impedance of your audio connection and greatly affect the sound quality. The male plugs also feature a step shoulder design that allows the plug to fit into the earphone port of a smart phone that is inside of a heavy case. I show it plugged into my iPhone 5S that is inside an Otterbox Defender case and it fits perfectly.
This cable is professionally sheathed in a nylon fiber cloth shield that is wrapped around a foil shielded cable that is double shielded. That means in English that it is protected from interference from EMI and RFI noise from magnetic and frequency fields that can distort your music. Heck, some car ignition systems emit so much noise that they can affect an audio cable in your car. This cable is designed to eliminate that possibility.
I like braided cables as they are rugged and strong and they look nice and don't tend to get twisted up and tangled into knots like other cables. The cable is well made and has an excellent strain relief on each end to protect the wiring connections. This 48 inch high quality cable is a 5 star item and I rated it at 5 stars.
I received a sample product for evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.
