This tablet has the new Sony Xperia lines, super thin and lightweight. So far as expected - fast, clean, standard Android, and plenty of room to expand (64GB card is extra, but 12GB on board is roomy to start). All my apps so far work fine, and I've got some doozies that I love - graphics heavy games, real CPU workouts like Galaxy On Fire 2. Can't get any thinner now: the 3.5mm audio jack is as wide as the tablet is thick! Amazing. Do throw down for the special Sony charging stand, with the little magnetic connector in the bottom. This is not a data connection - power only. Get used to accessing this unit wirelessly over wifi. There is also a micro-USB plug behind the waterproof door, for the occasional update, but it just feels like opening that little door thousands of times would wear out the seal. The SIM card tray is special, don't try to fit a nano SIM into this tray with one of those little adapters - it wont work. Go to your carrier and get a standard issue micro SIM, and it will work just fine. Unlike the Z2 phone, which has a glass back, this is a plastic back. Looks great, anyway.
